Hannan is nursing a facial injury and is questionable to play Friday against the Coyotes, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports. Hannan was removed from Wednesday's win over the Avalanche in the third period after taking a puck to the face on a clearing attempt by teammate Brent Burns. It put a sour finish on what had been a good night up to that point for Hannan, who netted his second goal of the season in the second period. Hannan was absent from Thursday's practice while he continued to experience swelling, putting his status in peril for the weekend. Coach Todd McLellan said the Sharks would likely recall a blueliner from AHL Worcester if Hannan is forced to miss time.
