Gudbranson suffered an undisclosed injury in the final minutes of Monday's win over the Maple Leafs, although coach Gerard Gallant wasn't able to update his status after the game, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Gudbranson's next opportunity to prove his health will be Tuesday against the Canadiens, although there's legitimate concern that he won't be able to play because of the quick turnaround. With Willie Mitchell (concussion) still off the ice, the Panthers may have to utilize their talent in the AHL if Gudbranson's injury amounts to something serious.
