Granlund's second-period tally was the only offense Minnesota could muster as they fell to the Sabres on Tuesday, 2-1.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund's second of the season now gives him six points in ten games, putting him on pace for a 50-point season. Everyone is still waiting for the 24-year-old to break out offensively after posting point totals of 41, 39 and 44 in each of the past three seasons, but it looks more and more like he's destined to be a two-way player with above average production. There's nothing wrong with that as Granlund remains one of the Wild's most dependable forwards, but his lack of offensive upside certainly makes him frustrating to own in fantasy despite his obvious talent. There's still hope for him yet, but don't hold your breath.
