Grabner signed a two-year, $3.2 million contract with the Rangers on Friday, reports TSN.ca.
EDGE Analysis
Grabner once scored 34 goals and tallied 52 points. But that was six seasons ago -- in his rookie year, no less -- and he just hasn't come close to replicating that kind of production since. Grabner can't stay healthy and hasn't cracked 30 points for four straight seasons. His skating is his best attribute -- #speeddemon is the best description for him. Grabner will be deployed as an up-tempo third-line force and a PK specialist. But he won't deliver much fantasy value.
