Giordano (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 the FAN reports. Giordano's injury dates back to Feb. 25, but his placement on injured reserve means he will miss Tuesday's contest in Philadelphia. The move will open up a roster spot, but it seems as though Giordano isn't far off from returning. His next chance will come Thursday against the Bruins.
