Getzlaf was absent from Wednesday's morning skate and could sit out the Ducks' game later in the evening against the Stars. The Ducks haven't formally clinched the Western Conference's No. 1 seed just yet, but with a two-point cushion on the Blues and two games remaining against non-playoff teams in the Stars and Coyotes, it appears to be in the bag. As such, the team could opt to rest Getzlaf on Wednesday in preparation for the postseason, as they did in a game last Friday against the Avalanche. A decision on Getzlaf's lineup status likely won't be announced until pregame warmups at 10:00 ET, which may make it wise for those playing in daily leagues to take a look at other options.
