Franson has provided some fantasy upside for owners this season, mostly due to his presence on the power play (seven power play points this season), but his status likely only impacts those in deeper leagues. He didn't log any time in the two games prior to the injury, but will likely do so when he's healthy again. Expect another update on the blueliner's status prior to puck drop Wednesday, but either Mike Weber or Carlo Colaiacovo would draw into the lineup in Franson's place should he be unavailable again.
