Elliott allowed three goals on just 21 shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks. Elliott has now dropped four straight, and Monday's 18 saves actually marked his highest total in that department in his past three games. Jake Allen received consecutive starts last week and despite coach Ken Hitchcock's recent reassurance that Elliott will start the majority of the games down the stretch, it's possible the goalie situation will become more fluid while the 29-year-old struggles.
