Demers scored the first two goals of the game, handing his team a 2-0 lead just 7:26 in. Unfortunately, it was all Sharks from there, as goaltender Matt Jones managed to turn aside everything from that point on. These were the blueliner's first two goals with his new team but he does have a healthy seven points through 14 games. Surpassing the 20-point threshold for the sixth time shouldn't be a problem if Demers stays healthy.
