Cole, who served as a healthy scratch for Pittsburgh in the last 11 games, saw the ice for the first time since Jan. 21 on Sunday and went pointless in 13:48 TOI.
EDGE Analysis
He acquitted himself pretty well, dishing out three hits while not looking out of place after such a long layoff. Cole apparently fell out of favor with the coaching staff -- he managed only four points in 45 games prior to Sunday, but he may see regular action due to the injury of Ben Lovejoy.
