Coach Mike Johnston said Malkin (undisclosed) might play Sunday and will definitely be ready for Tuesday's game. He's already been ruled out of Saturday's tilt in Columbus. The Penguins coach said he knew Malkin would likely only play one game over the weekend due to a nagging injury. "We'll see if he's good enough for Sunday," Johnston said. "I hope he'll be able to play on Sunday, but I'm sure he'll be able to play Tuesday." Whenever Malkin does return, he will likely skate with Chris Kunitz and Blake Comeau.
