Coach Mike Johnston said after Saturday's loss to the Bruins that the team decided to make Crosby a late scratch after the center "wasn't feeling well" following pregame warmups, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Johnston's words would seem to imply that Crosby is dealing with an illness. Crosby was initially listed in the lineup that Johnston submitted to the official scorers, but the team ended up reversing course at the last minute, substituting Craig Adams in for Crosby. Johnston also said that he thinks Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, who left after the first period of the game with an injury, "might be able to play" Sunday against the Red Wings. However, with Sunday's game being another matinee, the Penguins aren't likely to provide updates on the status of either player prior to warmups.
