Coach Barry Trotz said Thursday morning that Fehr is "very close" to skating with the team, Alex Prewitt of the Washington Post reports. Fehr was limited to working out on his own the past two days, and has been ruled out from playing in Thursday's Game 1 against the Rangers. It doesn't sound like as he's far off of a return at this point, as he could rejoin the team for practice as soon as Friday. Should that materialize, Trotz more than likely wouldn't feel comfortable having Fehr reenter the lineup for Saturday's Game 2, making Monday's Game 3 a more plausible target date.
