Brodeur will start Monday against the Avalanche, Lou Korac of the Blues' official site reports. Brodeur came in to relieve Jake Allen in the third period of Tuesday's game against the Avalanche, and stopped all of the 10 shots he faced. He will receive the starting nod Tuesday against the Avs, but his status with the team moving forward will be interesting as Brian Elliott (knee) nears his return.
