Beagle, who was on pace for a career season with six goals and six assists in 36 games, sustained the injury late in the second period of Thursday's win over the Sabres and is expected to resume off ice workouts some time next week. The Capitals will miss the Calgary native's defensive prowess, as well as his 58.4% efficiency in the faceoff circle. Zach Sill figures to remain in the lineup for the time being, although the coaching staff will likely rotate players in from AHL Hershey to try and fill the void.
