Bourque set up two of the Preds' four goals in Saturday's victory over the Capitals.

Bourque has largely been stuck in a bottom-six role this season, but his second assist did come alongside top liners Mike Fisher and Filip Forsberg. It's unclear if he will have many further opportunities to permanently unseat Craig Smith at one of the wing spots on the top line, as Bourque hasn't shown much scoring prowess this season. He's managed only 13 points in 63 games.

Bourque failed to crack the scoresheet Monday against the Coyotes, bringing his current pointless streak to 11 games.

Given the roster upgrades the Predators made this season, Bourque has been relegated to a fourth-line role most nights. As a result, his ice time has dropped to a career-low 11:45 per game, a decline of roughly four minutes from two seasons ago. Bourque will become an unrestricted free agent this summer, and it would not surprise us if the Preds decided to part ways with the 24-year-old winger. Either way, he should not be on your fantasy roster at this time.

Bourque recorded an assist - just his ninth point of the season - in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Sharks. After posting a career-high 26 points in 2013-14, Bourque will be lucky to hit the 20-point mark this season. Given his fourth-line status, he does not figure to make much of a fantasy impact anytime soon; his value remains limited to ultra-deep formats only.

Bourque nabbed an unassisted goal in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Penguins.

Bourque capitalized on a first-period Pittsburgh turnover to claim his third marker of the season. With only seven points and minimal hit and PIM totals across 36 games, Bourque isn't an attractive option in most fantasy formats.

Despite skating only nine minutes, Bourque scored a goal, dished out an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's win over the Blues.

With that, Bourque snaps a six-game scoreless slump in which he'd put just three shots on goal. But he still owns only two goals and five points on the year, so there's not much to be found here from a fantasy perspective, though he's at least hitting at a career-high rate (38 in 23 games).

Bourque was held off the scoresheet during Tuesday's loss to the Bruins.

Bourque sat out eight games as a healthy scratch during the second half of November, but has played in nine games since then, registering a goal and two assists during that span -- his first points of the season. He essentially has zero fantasy value outside of very deep leagues.

Bourque picked up his first goal (an empty-netter) and his first assist of the year Tuesday in a 3-0 win over Colorado.

It's been an awful season so far for Bourque, who had gone 14 scoreless games to start the campaign, so it's nice to see him put something on the board, even if it wasn't necessarily in incredibly impressive fashion.

Bourque, who has zero points to his credit thus far, has been a healthy scratch six times since the start of the season, including the past two games.

What started out as a very promising campaign for Bourque, with him skating on the top line with Mike Ribeiro and James Neal, has quickly gone sour. Bourque has since been replaced on the first unit by rookie phenom Filip Forsberg, leaving Bourque as the odd man out. Bourque scored a career-high 26 points in 74 games last season, but doesn't figure to come anywhere close to that total this season, given his current situation. He should not be on anyone's fantasy roster right now.

Bourque, who has zero points in nine games, skated a season-low 7:51 Friday against the Flames, playing on the Predators' fourth line alongside Paul Gaustad and Eric Nystrom.

Bourque recorded a career-high 26 points last season, but will be hard-pressed to come anywhere near that total this season given his current pace. He's not even shooting the puck all that much (averaging just under one shot per game), which is an indication of just how much he's focusing on his defensive responsibilities these days. Bottom line, Bourque's fantasy value is hovering right around the zero mark in all but the deepest of formats. Avoid.

Bourque saw 18:35 of ice time in Saturday's preseason loss to Columbus, including over six minutes on the power play. He skated mainly on the Preds' first line alongside Mike Ribeiro and James Neal.

At the start of training camp, rookie Filip Forsberg was slated to play left wing on the Preds' top line with Neal and Ribeiro, but over the last week or so, it appears Bourque has since been moved into this slot with Forsberg playing on the second line with Derek Roy and Craig Smith. Bourque has typically played more of a checking-line role the past few seasons, so this move to the top line definitely gives his fantasy value a boost. He's worth a late-round sleeper pick for those of you in deeper formats.
