Coach Brent Sutter is hoping that David Moss (foot) is able to play at the end of Calgary's road trip. The Flames play four games on the road next week and Sutter is looking for Moss to be activated late in the week. Moss has only one goal and four points in 12 games this season and while he participated in a light skate on Thursday, he has yet to have a full practice with the team. "It's a day-to-day thing," Sutter said. "The best way to put it is there's a slight chance, maybe (he'll play) at the end of the road trip. If not, it'll be sometime after."

David Moss (foot) took part in Thursday's optional morning skate. "Good to see Mosser out there," coach Brent Sutter said. "We're kind of taking it day to day to see how he feels but I think he's getting close. He had a tough skate today, we'll see how he feels and gets through (Friday) and if he feels good, then I'm expecting he'll be in full practice with us and be ready in the very near future." Stay tuned for updates.

The Calgary Flames have placed David Moss (foot) on the injured reserve list. The move was made necessary when Calgary took Brendan Morrison off the list and put the Flames over the player limit by one. Moss has missed the last two games after leaving Saturday's game in the second period. The move to the injured list will be backdated to Saturday so Moss is eligible to come off injured reserve at any time. Moss has only a goal and four points this season so he should be very easy to replace if he is on your fantasy squad.

David Moss will miss his second straight game with a foot injury. Moss has a sore foot and missed a game early last week as well with the injury. If he is in your lineup, look elsewhere for now although he should be easy to replace with only a goal and four points this season.

David Moss' lower body injury is reportedly related to his foot. Moss missed Wednesday's practice due to the injury. He should be considered questionable for Friday's game.

David Moss did not play in third period on Saturday night because of an lower-body injury. It's unclear what the problem is at this time, but it's worth noting that Moss just came back from a sore foot this past Tuesday and he didn't appear to be going at full throttle in his return. Stay tuned for updates.

David Moss played on Tuesday after missing Sunday's game with a sore foot. Moss blocked two shots and logged 13:06 minutes in Calgary's 3-0 loss on Tuesday. It looked like Moss hadn't fully recovered from his injury, but fortunately the Flames won't play again until Friday.

Brent Sutter said that he will "definitely be out" of the lineup tonight against the Colorado Avalanche in what looks like a healthy scratch. David Moss only has 1 goal and 4 points in 12 games so far this season, so it's not shocking that the Calgary Flames decided to sit him for at least one night. He managed a solid 30 points in 58 games last season and the biggest difference might be luck: his shooting percentage is at a pitiful 3.4 percent so far in 2011-12. That number can only go up, but he's of marginal value anyway.
