MacArthur acknowledged he suffered a hip flexor injury during the postseason series with the Canadiens, TSN.ca reports.

The injury appeared to occur in Game 5, when he left the match prematurely with what the team termed as a "lower-body injury." MacArthur was ultimately able to suit up for Game 6, logging 20:39 of ice time and supplying five shots on goal and seven hits in the series-ending loss. He'll take the next several months off to recuperate from the injury, but should be fully healthy by the time training camp arrives.

MacArthur (lower body) will start in Sunday's Game 6 against the Canadiens, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.

MacArthur left Game 5 on Friday early with the lower-body issue, and did not return. However, it appears the injury was minor enough that he'll give it a go as the Senators look to stave off elimination once again.

MacArthur will not return to Friday's Game 5 against the Canadiens after suffering a lower-body injury.

MacArthur potted a goal in Sunday's Game 3 loss to the Canadiens.

MacArthur's marker gave the Senators an early 1-0 lead, which nearly held up as the game-winning tally until the Habs' Dale Weise pushed one past goalie Craig Anderson for the tying score. The 30-year-old has been on fire for the Senators since returning from a concussion March 28, accruing five goals and seven assists over 12 games.

MacArthur notched a goal, an assist and a plus-2 rating Thursday against the Rangers, pushing his point streak to six games.

MacArthur and linemate Kyle Turris (as well as Mark Stone) have been pouring it on as the Sens battle for a playoff spot, and it's no coincidence that they're 5-0-1 over the course of his point streak. There's no reason to think he won't stretch it to seven in Saturday's season finale.

MacArthur registered an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's overtime win over the Senators.

MacArthur has given the Senators an immediate boost since returning from a concussion March 28. In seven games, he's generated two goals and five assists, and extended his point streak to five games with the helper in Tuesday's match. MacArthur's linemates, Kyle Turris and Mark Stone, have ran even hotter over the last several games, making all three members of the trio must-plays in most formats.

MacArthur recorded an assist and finished with a plus-2 rating in Thursday's win over the Lightning.

After missing about five weeks due to a concussion, MacArthur has fit seamlessly into the Senators' lineup in his first four games back. He's tallied a goal and two assists during that span, while skating on the top line with the red-hot Kyle Turris and Mark Stone. Fantasy owners in need of extra forward depth could do worse than scooping MacArthur off the waiver wire.

MacArthur will be in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Maple Leafs, Mark Masters of TSN reports.

As was expected after the team cleared him to play Friday, MacArthur will skate on the Sens' second line in his first game since leaving a Feb. 16 contest with the head injury. The timing for MacArthur's return is quite fortunate for the Senators, as the team lost another top-six winger in Milan Michalek to a concussion last weekend.

MacArthur (concussion) was cleared to return to the lineup Saturday against the Maple Leafs, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports. The Senators officially activated him from injured reserve Friday, according to the NHL's official media site.

After practicing with the Senators on Friday and receiving clearance to travel with the team to Toronto, MacArthur learned that he passed the concussion test he took Thursday, which was the final hurdle he needed to clear in order to play again. Coach Dave Cameron didn't formally announce that MacArthur would return to the lineup Saturday, and with the Senators kicking off a back-to-back set, it's possible the team holds him out until Sunday's home date with the Panthers. However, with the injuries to both Milan Michalek and Matt Puempel compromising the Senators' depth on the wing, it seems more likely than not that MacArthur checks back in Saturday.
