Stralman has been cold offensively lately, as he's pointless over his last 10 games. Florida is 4-4-2 over that span.

Despite the lack of scoring, the veteran blueliner and first-year Panther is still contributing in other ways with nine hits and 13 blocked shots over the same 10-game span. With 96 blocks on the year, Stralman is only four away from his career high set two years ago in Tampa Bay and has averaged a hearty 21:04 of ice time. Stralman is second on the team in both categories behind Noel Acciari (103 blocks) and Aaron Ekblad (22:59).

Stralman scored the game-winning goal in Monday's 5-3 victory over the Sharks.

The blueliner was the trailer on a rush led by Jonathan Huberdeau, and Stralman made no mistake when Huberdeau found him in the slot, ringing the puck in off the post in the top corner. Stralman had only two points, both assists, in his prior 18 games, and on the season the 33-year-old has a modest five goals and 19 points through 59 contests.

That's a near-identical line to his production from last year -- Stralman has a good chance to surpass 20 points for the first time since 2016-17. He's added 68 blocked shots, 50 hits and 64 shots on goal this season.

Stralman collected two assists to go with four shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 win over Ottawa.

Stralman drew the secondary assists on goals by Noel Acciari and Jonathan Huberdeau (EN), giving him points in four straight games (one goal, four assists). The 33-year-old veteran has four goals and 16 points in 40 games and is gunning for the 30-point mark for the first time since 2015-16.

Stralman collected an assist and a team-high 24:41 in ice time in a 6-5 win over the Canadiens on Sunday.

It was his second-highest time on ice this season behind a 26:09 performance against the Rangers on Nov. 10. Stralman averages 21:06 in ice time, but saw it jump with the Panthers taking four minor penalties. The pairing of Stralman and Riley Stillman saw 3:47 each shorthanded.
