The NHL is reviewing Brent Seabrook's hit on David Backes that occurred at 15:19 of the third period in Game 2 of the series between the Blackhawks and Blues. Not surprising news at all. The Blackhawks defenseman leveled Backes, who did not have the puck and was in a vulnerable position behind the net, with a high hit, connecting with his head. Seabrook was given fiven minutes for charging and a game misconduct, while Backes looked wobbly and departed from the game. The Blues would tie the game up on the power play with 6.4 seconds remaining and win it 4-3 in overtime.
