Brandon Bollig appeared in all 82 games for the Blackhawks this season. However, Bollig isn't sure if he's guaranteed himself a spot in the lineup for the playoffs. "There are a lot of guys fighting for playing time right now and earning their way in," he said. "It's nice to have that competition - it keeps guys fresh and keeps guys honest. Nobody gets complacent, and everyone's kind of fighting every night. That can be very good for a team because obviously everyone wants to play every game. The competition keeps guys hungry." He finished the year with seven goals and 14 points after not recording a point in his previous 43 NHL outings.
