Jared Boll fought the Islanders' Matt Carkner midway through the third period of Columbus' 4-0 victory on Sunday. Boll and Carkner were both handed misconducts in addition to five-minute majors. Boll now has 1,023 career penalty minutes, which is just two minutes shy of the Blue Jackets' franchise record.
