Ryan McDonagh is "pretty confident" that he'll be back before the playoffs start. The Rangers defenseman suffered a shoulder injury on a hit from Canucks forward Alex Borrows late in Tuesday's game, and he didn't play Thursday night, though he traveled with the team. McDonagh said right now he's dealing with soreness and doesn't have "full range of motion" with his left arm. "I'm pretty confident that I will be (back before the playoffs)," he said. "That's my goal. I wish I could be out there right now, but hopefully I get a chance to get back in soon."
