Cam Ward turned aside 28 of 29 shots in Carolina's 2-1 shootout loss to Ottawa Monday night. Ward has been disappointing this season with a 3.11 goals-against average and .896 save percentage. His record now stands in 9-11-6 and the Hurricanes expected much better from him.
