Chicago forward Marian Hossa, who missed the past five games with an upper-body injury, returned in brilliant fashion Sunday night, producing three points in the Blackhawks' 4-1 victory over the visiting Detroit Red Wings. Hossa scored his 25th goal of the season and added two assists. He also tied for team-highs with a plus-2 and three shots on goal. Hossa assisted on goals by Nick Leddy (his seventh of the season) and Jonathan Toews (27th). Hossa now has 28 assists on the season. Also potting a goal for Chicago Sunday was Ben Smith (ninth). Smith also contributed an assist, while Duncan Keith chipped in with two assists.
