John Tavares lit the lamp for the Islanders, who fell 5-2 to the Avalanche on Saturday night. Tavares continues to produce at a very high clip -- 24 goals, 42 assists -- but for the most part, his teammates are not following suit. It will be fun to watch Tavares work his magic on the bigger international ice surface in the Olympics. Lubomir Visnovsky also scored and he had an assist in the loss.
