Jared Spurgeon (foot) participated in Thursday's morning skate, but he won't play against Colorado. It marked his first appearance on the ice with his teammates since he injured his foot on a blocked shot on Jan. 2 versus Buffalo. Spurgeon is slated to take part on contact drills on Friday and he could be back on Saturday.
