Eric Fehr has been playing alongside Alex Ovechkin of late. It's been quite a year for Fehr who was in Finland a year ago, trying to get another NHL contract after his hometown Winnipeg Jets let him go as a UFA at the end of the 2011-12 season. "I think playing in Finland really helped me to be a guy that they want the puck on your stick and to get the feeling of that again. When you play third-, fourth-line minutes for [seven] years, you almost lose the feel of the puck and how to create space and how to hang on to it and make plays," Fehr said. "I think that kind of clicked in my mind again that I can do this and showed me the ways I need to do it again. When I came back here I was playing with a different kind of confidence and reminded back of what I could do." Fehr has eight goals and 19 points in 35 games this season and his fantasy value definitely gets a boost if he continues to play with Ovechkin.
