Kyle Chipchura won't play Thursday because of a lower-body injury he sustained in Tuesday's win over Calgary. It will be the first game of the 2013-14 campaign that he's missed. Chipchura has seven points and 30 penalty minutes, while averaging 9:50 of ice time. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.
