Alex Goligoski is slated to be a healthy scratch Thursday night. "I had a real good conversation with him," coach Lindy Ruff said. "I want him to improve his defending. There's been some good in his game, but there's nothing on the offensive side to support the defensive numbers." Goligoski has no points and minus-10 rating in eight games this season, but it's still early and he has plenty of time to turn things around.
