Deryk Engelland drew into his first game of the season Saturday. He replaced Robert Bortuzzo in the lineup. Engelland was minus-one in 13:28 minutes of action Saturday. He played in 42 games for the Penguins last season with six assists, 54 penalty minutes and a plus-five rating. He has been displaced by the play of rookie Olli Maatta and when Kris Letang returns to action, Engelland will drop another spot on the depth chart. We cannot recommend him for penalty minutes due to his lack of ice time.
