Lubomir Visnovsky has accepted the arbitrator's decision to uphold his trade to the New York Islanders.
Visnovsky attempted to void the trade on the grounds that he had a no-trade clause when the Ducks traded him. "This was a CBA issue between the NHL and the NHLPA," Visnovsky's agent, Neil Sheehy said. "The language wasn't clear, it's clear now. The arbitrator made it clear. I fully accept it and Lubo does as well, there are no issues. The arbitrator has spoken." Assuming the looming lockout doesn't wipe out the 2012-13 campaign, Visnovsky will attempt to bounce back from his disappointing 2011-12 season. This is a contract year for him.
