Back in August, reports suggested that Fisher, who had surgery July 3, was targeting a late November return, so this week's news certainly suggests he remains on that timeline. Fisher will likely slot in as the Preds' No. 2 center behind Mike Ribeiro once he gets the green light to rejoin the lineup.
