The Red Wings will determine whether or not Datsyuk (groin) will play Friday against the Blackhawks following their morning skate that day, Ted Kulfan of the Detroit News reports. After he was able to return to practice Wednesday, Datsyuk expressed optimism that he'd be ready to go in time for Friday's game, though the Detroit medical staff understandably wants to check up on him after the morning skate before clearing him for a return. The veteran center has been sidelined for the previous two games with the injury, but given his impressive play when healthy this season, he should be immediately reinserted in fantasy lineups if he receives the green light to suit up Friday.
