Carcillo (knee) is making excellent progress in his recovery and could return to the lineup as soon as Sunday's game against the Stars, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Carcillo resumed skating a couple days ago and joined the Blackhawks on the ice for Tuesday's morning session, an activity that he wasn't expected to take part in for at least another week. He'll likely attempt to increase his involvement in practice over the next couple of days in order to receive the go-ahead to return over the weekend. Once Carcillo is fully healthy, Peter Regin will likely be forced to head back to AHL Rockford.
