Vrbata will miss Sunday's game against the Ducks with a lingering leg injury, Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province reports. Vrbata has been bothered by the injury since Thursday, but managed to play through the pain in Saturday's loss to the Kings. However, in an effort to prevent the issue from worsening, Vrbata will sit out the second game of the Canucks' weekend back-to-back, but it doesn't appear likely that a long-term absence is in store. After the game against the Ducks, the Canucks won't play again until next Friday, which should offer Vrbata ample time to nurse himself back to full health.
