Smith tallied a pair of assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's shootout loss to Calgary. Smith had the secondary helpers on both Nashville goals, so it's not the most impressive showing of all time, but it still gives him three points and a plus-3 rating through three games this year. Coming off a breakout 52-point season, Smith is going to be a big part of whatever the Preds can do on offense. He skated 17:23 on Tuesday.
