Gaborik attempted two shots but was otherwise absent on the score sheet in Wednesday's shutout loss to the Sharks. Since he's far from a physical payer on defense and doesn't normally play huge minutes, Gaborik's fantasy value lies almost exclusively in his ability to collect points. It makes Gaborik somewhat of a liability in leagues that count specialty categories, but if he can score at close to point-per-game clip this season, he'll likely be forgiven by his fantasy owners.
