Winchester (concussion) has yet to resume skating, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports. Winchester remains on the Avs' active roster, but if he fails to make much progress over the next few days, the team may have to seriously consider placing him on injured reserve. In addition to Winchester, the Avs are already without the services of John Mitchell and Patrick Bordeleau in their bottom-six, robbing the team of some needed physicality.
