Fowler still seems rather unlikely to suit up in Thursday's season opener against the Penguins, but the fact that he's accompanying the team on the road trip suggests he's not far away from returning. The talented young blue liner bounced back nicely in 2013-14 following two subpar seasons, registering six goals, 30 assists and a plus-15 rating over 70 games.
