Gaborik (undisclosed) will likely miss Saturday's preseason finale but is confident he will be on the ice for the team's regular season opener, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports. Gaborik signed a seven-year extension with the Kings in the offseason following a strong postseason last year. It looks as though he will start earning his money in the team's opener against the Sharks on Oct. 8.
