Restricted free agent Vladimir Sobotka and the St. Louis Blues will continue to negotiate on a new contract. Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch described talks between the two sides as "cordial" so far. Sobotka chose not to file for arbitration, so there's a chance that something could be worked out shortly. His last deal was a three-year pact worth $3.9 million.
