The Rangers don't seem willing to "pay to keep" Dominic Moore, according to Larry Brooks of the NY Post. Moore is reportedly seeking a three-year deal between $1.6 million and $1.85 million per season. The Masterton Trophy winner was the Rangers' best face-off man and was exceptional on the penalty kill, along with being an integral piece to the fourth line. He notched 18 points last season, with eight more in the playoffs. Sure, the Rangers have key restricted free agents to sign and will be tight to the cap, but it's still odd to hear them being priced out of their unrestricted free agents.
