GM Jim Rutherford said Thursday that he's "zeroed in on one guy" during his coaching search. He didn't name the candidate, but news came down that Willie Desjardins was expected to be in town to meet with the Penguins after he spoke with them on the phone earlier in the day. Desjardins just coached the Dallas Stars' AHL affiliate to a Calder Cup championship. He's also believed to be high on Vancouver's head coaching list.
