Mathieu Perreault is speaking with the Ducks about a new contract. He's a pending restricted free agent who Anaheim GM Bob Murray wants to re-sign. Perreault has arbitration rights, so getting him under a new deal is viewed as a more pressing matter than fellow RFAs Jakob Silfverberg and Devante Smith-Pelly.
