Jeff Carter played a spectacular game on Wednesday night, winning 70% of his faceoffs and generating numerous scoring chances in the Kings' 2-1 loss to New York. Carter and the Kings dominated the third period in pursuit of the equalizer, outshooting New York 15-1. Carter and his linemates Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson were the best line on the ice by far, but the trio were unable to beat Henrik Lundqvist. L.A. will try to win on home ice in Game 5 on Friday night.
