Evgeni Malkin intends to join Russia at the World Hockey Championship. His NHL season came to an end on Tuesday when Pittsburgh was eliminated in seven games by the New York Rangers. Malkin registered 14 points (six goals, eight assists) in 13 games to lead the team in scoring during the playoffs.
