Brad Marchand didn't take part in Thursday's optional morning skate. Daniel Paille took Marchand's place on the second line, as he did during Tuesday's session. Marchand is believed to be dealing with an illness, but he practiced on Wednesday. Coach Claude Julien didn't say what Marchand's status was, but we going to believe that he plays Thursday night.
