Ryan Smyth scored a goal in Edmonton's 2-1 win over the Rangers. Smyth has eight goals and 20 points in 49 games this season. He'll turn 38 during the Olympic break and it remains to be seen if he'll extend his career beyond the 2013-14 campaign. Smyth's contract will expire this summer, but he's likely to find work in the NHL if he decides that he wants to play for one more season.
