Joey MacDonald was demoted to AHL Abbotsford on Sunday. MacDonald went unclaimed on waivers, which isn't surprising given his 3.17 GAA and .885 save percentage this season. He might end up spending the rest of the 2013-14 campaign in the minors unless there's an injury.
